Due to my ministry, teaching and seminary schedules, I have decided to concentrate on ministry work, and no longer research or lecture on secular historical topics. Other than some previously scheduled lectures in 2008, I will not accept any invitations to speak except in a preaching capacity (pulpit fill); I am deeply grateful to all the historical societies, library groups, SCV camps and other interest groups that have so kindly invited me to speak to them over the years.
I want to especially thank the good folks at the Chestatee Regional Library and the Dawson County Historical Society, both in Dawsonville, Georgia. They have been a kind and very gracious host to several Civil War lectures over the years, and I could not think of a better group of people to "bookend" my military history career. I am deeply grateful to their frequent invitations and room-capacity attendence, this is the place any historian would love to come and lecture, and my family counts ourselves blessed to have known you!
